Privacy policy

Do not store sensitive information on Blot. Your blog’s folder is hosted on Blot’s servers and its contents can be accessed by your readers. Blot stores the following about you:

• Your email address
• Your password hash
• A list of the blogs you run on Blot
• A token to collect payments through either Stripe or PayPal. Your full payment details are not stored on Blot’s server.
• A token to access your blog’s folder in your Dropbox if your blog uses Dropbox.

The only usage data Blot collects is the number of requests per day and the time it takes to respond to each request. Blot may monitor URIs with exceptional response times.

You can permanently delete your account and all the data associated with it at any point. Blot does not share the data it stores with third parties and will not unless compelled by law.

Please report any security breach. If there is a security breach, I promise to disclose it.
