Has anyone heard from David in recent weeks/months?

I have not heard but at some point I did get a response to a question here on posting some content. I think it was before Xmas time or so. I don't do email too often but instead read up on the questions and answers here. Hope all is okay.

I got an email from David a little over a month ago. He had just moved and said things had been really busy with that.

I have had a series of emails go unanswered since mid-December too. I'm patient, but it does worry me, especially since I just re-booted my Blot site and plan to use it more often going forward. Hopefully he's just temporarily busy as someone has suggested.

Hello all – this is David here. Sorry for the delay in responding to your inquiries, I was taking some time off for the holidays and I'm now back to work. You should expect a response to your emails and questions here in the next few days.

I should have communicated to those who contacted that I was taking time off and for that I'm sorry, I'll put a system in place (perhaps an auto-responder and a note on the questions and contact pages?) for next time.

David you deserve a break like anyone else. Maybe an auto reply when you are away can keep us updated and assured that you are away and will reply. Many good wishes and glad you are back! :)

I'm new also and have been waiting to hear back on importing my Wordpress blog over. I emailed on April 23rd and nothing since so I am concerned because I can't switch over until everything is imported. So I'm just waiting. Hopefully we will hear soon.

I just noticed this question and another separate question titled "Is Blot abandoned?" I personally have always found David very helpful, friendly and responsive so it would be unusual for him to not respond, hope all is ok with him.

Depending on a one-man shop for hosting content on the web is a risky thing to do. Without news from him, I'm starting to think about going elsewhere, even though the platform is performing well...
